This Human Form Unreal

You hear a new day's breath taking the veil of sleep
Morning light asking "won't you get on your feet?"
Come and live the same day you have lived before
Put on your ropes and smile when you go through the door
"See how you walk", you hear them talk, and try even harder
"The way you speak is strange to me can't you talk like Martha?
You know noone would love you when you're wearing these shoes
But this company I found could make you feel fabulous"

I know (As the hours pass)
I know (Like an empty glass)
But I can't just pretend to be so

The Storm (Lightning splits the sky)
This Human Form (Nowhere left to hide)
Just feels so alien to me
